Comment:
I'm not a fan of slow song but somehow I really love Sanatorium a lotI've been listening to this song on a repeat mode. The music is very slow but it does portray the melancholic and depressing mood which is always Plastic Tree style. This song can be tad similar with their other song, Spica but to be honest, I think Sanatorium is better than Spica.
As for Pied Piper, the music is the opposite Sanatorium where the music is heavier and edgier but somehow I wasn't really that hooked with this song. It must have something to do with how awesome Sanatorium is, but then again, I can't seem to like Pied Piper as much as Sanatorium.
Comparing this single with Fukuro, I would say that Fukuro has an edgy feeling but I haven't been listening to this kind of song (for single) for so long so listening to Sanatorium is refreshing. Sanatorium also reminds me of Makka na Ito because it has similar mood. This is a good single if you want to give Plastic Tree a try, that is if you don't mind slow and soft melody. Overall, this single is worth a buy regardless of the fact that the song is the slow type. I couldn't care less how slow the song is as long as the song is awesome.
