Plastic Tree - Replay/Dolly single review

October 18th 2008 10:25
Before I start with the review, there are a few things that I need to tell you. At first I do notice that I haven't updated this blog for so long but not to worry, I would never ever neglect this blog no matter what. There'll be more albums and singles review to come, so stay tune. I do listen to lots of bands but I didn't get to write the review due to time constraint and crappy internet connection. Anyway, those kind of stuff won't stop me from updating this blog so I just hope everyone here will enjoy reading the review as much as I enjoy writing and share my opinions about this particular single or album. Not to mention, I'll tell you what's the latest release at the end of each post if any so you won't miss any latest release next time. Anyway, let's move on with the review XD

Plastic Tree's new single was released in August this year. The single consists of 4 tracks and the limited edition version comes with the DVD. The DVD consists of Dolly pv and the making of the pv.

Tracklist:

1. Replay
2. Dolly
3. Replay (instrumental)
4. Dolly (instrumental)

DVD:

1. Replay music video
2. Replay making

Comment: As usual, I'm always excited whenever Plastic Tree released new single or album. I was slightly disappointed with Alone Again, Wonderful World single and I do hope that the same thing won't happen again for Replay/Dolly single. Luckily, it turns out to be the single that I love! The song itself isn't that heavy and not too slow either. Somehow,it has a nice and pleasing music so if you don't like loud music, this song is a must a listen for you. As for Dolly, the song is slightly heavier than Replay. If you have listened to Namida Drop B-side single, Rokugatsu no ame, the music is exactly like that. Overall, it's a satisfying single so if you've never listened to Plastic Tree's songs before, give this single a try. If you prefer something heavier, then try Makka na Ito.

Done with the comment about this single so feel free to share your opinions too. Everybody has different opinion so I would like to here your opinion as well.

Plastic Tree has also released new album Utsusemi. I'll be reviewing this album soon along with Gazette's latest single, Leech and once again, stay tune with the updates here XD

Here's Replay pv
