Comment:
This single really reminds me of their old songs as this single has this melancholic sound, similar like their old song. If you want to say that this single resembles their old root, then I would also agree with you. Added with Ryutarou's soft and melancholic voice, the song's mood has become dark, depressing and melancholic. I know this mood isn't so pleasant but Plastic Tree is the only band that can create this kind of atmosphere. And, the melody is neither slow nor catchy - I think it has the right amount of slow and catchy phase. So, you can guess that I really love this song not just because it sounds like their old songs, but also the mood created in this song. This is a must listen whether you know Plastic Tree or not.
I always love b-side track but sadly, I don't fancy this b-side track. It just feel so dull listening to this song so I obviously ditch this song whenever I listened to this single. I know I'm cruel but I seriously don't like this song.
Now, listening to the instrumental version, I realize that the depressing, dark and melancholic mood is still as deep as the vocal-included version which I find it amazing. I usually don't like to listen to the instrumental version but this instrumental version is an exception.
So, with a little bit of addiction and hatred for this single, I find that it's worth a listen. I'm emphasizing this part on Kuuchuu Buranko (as a song, not as a single). I would highly recommend this song if you don't really like noisy song. I know it's not a calming song no thanks to the mood but hey, it's not as noisy and crappy like the other songs we used to listen to on the radio. So, listen to this song yourself and share your thought about this song here.
