Comment:
With Bucchi leaving the band, it must be ironic for all of us how does the single sounds like without him. Yeah, this is true to some extent that Bucchi's heavy drums is no longer present in this single. But still, I can assure you that Plastic Tree doesn't change musically even Bucchi had left the band.
If you're familiar with Plastic Tree songs, I can only tell you one thing that listening to Fukuro doesn't make you feel bizarre. This is because they don't change much in a musical point of view. It's hard to describe the sound but this song itself is pretty upbeat. I really love this song when they've posted the pv preview on their Ameblog. It's funny to say that this song is somehow has lifted my mood which is a good feeling. Listen to this song and you'll get what I mean. Watching this pv makes me change my point of view about an owl. I never thought that an owl is an adorable looking creature in reality XD.
As for Consent, this might make you feel odd. The song itself is composed by Akira and I couldn't even believe it myself that Akira would compose such song. Okay, if you're familiar with Akira's composition, Consent must have brought him into a new direction. I'll make you stop guessing what kind of music is Consent. Believe it or not, the music for Consent is dance added with a little bit of funk. I think there is a specific term for this kind of music but I totally forgot what it was called (forgive my music knowledge X___X). Yes, I can only summarized the music description for Consent. I'm truly shocked with this song until up to the point I skipped this song whenever I listened to this single.
Overall, this single is amazing, as expected from Plastic Tree but somehow Consent kills the single. I have no sentiment with dance music but purely dance music is something that I hate. It's fine if they want to create something similar like what Gazette did for Filth In The Beauty (combining R&B with rock) but Consent sounds really odd. My advice would still remain the same: buy this single but ditch Consent - that is if you despise dance.
