Kagrra - Utakata single review

Kagrra's single Utakata which was released before their album, Shizuku. There are 3 types available - Type A, Type B and Type C. This review will focus on Type A edition.

Comment: The song is indeed very beautiful. What makes it a remarkable song is because of there's koto (traditional Japanese instrument) accompanied the melody. With koto as a part of the melody essence, this song is a must listen because it's very soothing. Listening to this song reminds me of Memoirs of Geisha. However, judging from the pv itself, this song really does resembles Memoirs of Geisha. As for other track, Sakebi, the song is also nice but somehow I find that the song seems out of place. It could be just me but I think it doesn't sound so Kagrra to me. Overall, this single is worth a listen if you like a calming song with the traditional element added to enrich the music. Besides, this single is suitable for everybody regardless of age.
