Kagrra - Tsuki ni Murakumo Hana ni Ame single review
July 11th 2010 15:10
I think it's been a long time I haven't write any review here. Sorry for the very long hiatus. I'll do my best to keep this blog as updated as I can. Life really caught me this time so I don't have time to update this blog but I do have some times to update my other blog =____=""
Anyway, here's Kagrra's new single Tsuki ni Murakumo Hana ni Ame which was released a couple of weeks ago when this review is currently written. The single is available in three types (Limited Type A, Limited Type B and Regular) but this review will only focus on Limited Type A version.
Tracklist:
1. Tsuki ni Murakumo Hana ni Ame
2. Hinomoto
DVD
1. Tsuki ni Murakumo Hana ni Ame
Comment:
I was pretty shocked when I listened to the preview because I always imagined that the song will be just like Shiki but I was so wrong about that. The song itself is very catchy which I find it's been a long time I haven't heard such song from Kagrra. The song itself kinda reminds me of San era and also with a little bit mixture of their previous album, Shu.
Hinomoto on the other hands reminds me a lot of one of the song from Shu, Towani. I think it must have something to do with the song has a similar catchy melody like Towani. I wouldn't want to think that they have recycled the Towani melody and used it for Hinomoto, but I do feel it has the familiar melody. But still, this song is pretty much good too, just like Tsuki ni Murakumo Hana ni Ame.
Overall, I think the single is much better than Shiki, but somehow it still doesn't have the impact I've been seeking for so long. Because of this, I have to listen to this single a couple of times so then it will remain and create a lasting impact in my mind. This is a great single introduction for new Kagrra fans. Whether does it worth or not, it's up to you but for me it's 70% worth a buy.
