Comment:

I don't really have anything much to say about this single because I already know that Kagrra's songs never makes me feel disappointed. Generally, this single is absolutely awesome and to be able to see Shiki live (live broadcast does count though, mind you) makes this song even better. Anyway, read more if you really want to know in depth why this single really worth your money.

Let's start with Shiki first. What makes me so hooked with this song is simply because it has a calm feeling regardless of its slow tempo. For those who are not familiar with Kagrra, this is what they would define as neo japaneseque where the music has an equal mix of rock and traditional Japanese music. Mixing with traditional Japanese music may be hard to do but Kagrra did it anyway and Shiki is one of a few examples of Kagrra's neo japaneseque style. Combined with koto, it creates a wonderful sound. I know this is practically not new in Kagrra's music, but if you have never heard their song, this song can be a good introduction to Kagrra's world.

Musokyou and Gikyoku Kagome Uta on the other hand reminds me of their songs during San. When I listened to these two songs, I have never thought that songs like the one in San would be in this single. Yes, I love San a lot so having this kind of song to be included in this single is a joy to me. If you love San, these two songs will bring back memories to you.

Okay, it takes awhile for me to write this review as I'm currently watching V-Rock Festival with Vidoll currently performing. Moving back to the single, I personally think that this single is slightly better than Uzu because the B-side tracks are absolutely awesome. Please don't misunderstood that I like the single only because of B-side (I know it does happens in my review) but for this single, the whole single itself is amazing and it's not going to disappoint you on way or another.

This is obviously a must have for Kagrra fans with lovely cover as a bonus and this is also another great introduction to Kagrra's songs for those who are not familiar with Kagrra.

Here's Shiki pv:
