Comment:
As usual, I'm not going to talk about Shiroi Uso, Tsuki ni Murakumo Hana ni Ame and Shiki because I've already written a review for these singles. You can read my thoughts about those songs over there.
Now, let's start with the first song, Hyakki Choryo. This is actually just an instrumental which works like the opening for this album. Of course, the intro is pretty much telling you welcome to the world of Kagrra. This intro is indeed great because it lets you absorbing yourself for the upcoming songs.
Chigire is an upbeat song, which I find it surprising. As you can see here, Hyakki Choryo seems to set you in a gloomy mood but Chigire on the other hand wants you to get out of the gloomy mood. Kakurenbo is also just like Chigire, with Kakurenbo's melody is faster than Chigire.
Kikan is an upbeat song, but somehow Kikan really does reminds me of the old Kagrra songs but I can't seem to recall which songs. Do you think that this song resembles any of Kagrra's old song?
As for Kiho, I don't have anything much to say other than I don't like this song.
For some odd reason, I love Manatsu no Yo ni Yume. This song may sounds odd but it seems like I was so in-tune with this song. Maybe it's because this song is unique regardless of the fact that it's odd.
Even though this album is Kagrra's last album, for some reason I don't feel like this is the last album. It's really weird for me to think like that considering that these songs in this album doesn't seem like a goodbye album to me.
Okay, let's just forget about those feeling for the time being. Regardless of the fact this is their last album, I feel like something is missing. I think Shu really does get Kagrra on its track but it doesn't seem for this album. This maybe their last album but it's not their best album either. Just buy this album if you're Kagrra fans. For new listener, this may not the album that I want you to buy first.
