Gazette - Before I Decay single review

Gazette's new single, Before I Decay is the theme song for Fast & Furious 4. This review will focus on limited edition version.

When I listened to Before I Decay preview, the intro reminds me of Circle of Swindler and also this song also has Ogre blended into it. As much as I'm very anticipated with this single, I just find that my anticipation towards this single was gone the moment I listened to this whole single. The reason why I felt like this is simply because there's nothing special with this single. Of course I'm expecting something unique from this single but it's totally expected since this single is just released 3 months after DIM was released. This single is only released solely for coping with the release of the movie. Call me an idiot but I don't really like this song.
Mayakashi sounds like.....I can only say that it gives you the feeling like listening to Kare Uta. Most people love this song more than Before I Decay but sadly I don't like this song as well. Even though I have listened to this song a lot of times, I still can't get myself to like this song because it's not the kind of style I like.
You have heard most people say that they don't really like Before I Decay but they like Mayakashi. As for me, I don't like both song. If you're asking me whether it's worth buying this single or not, the only thing for me to tell you is it's only worth it thanks to the special bonus edition which comes with the single when it was released. Other than that, I would say you can ditch this single unless you're true Gazette fans or this song won't be included in their next album.
