Yes, the single that everyone (An Cafe fans) has been waiting for. This is An Cafe's latest single which was released last week. This review is based on regular edition version.
Tracklist:
1. Natsukoi Natsu Game
2. Boku Wa Soba Ni Iru Kara

Okay, I already expect that this song would be a happy song since it's about summer and summer love (that is if you're going to confess during summer) so obviously the music would have this happy summer feeling. This is truly expected but somehow this song reminds me of Morning Musume song with Miku as the lead vocal. It's not unusual for An Cafe to have dance music (just like Nyappy In The World 4) but I don't like this song. Yes, I'm being honest that I don't like this song. Other than it sounds like Morning Musume songs, this song doesn't really focus much on Takuya's guitar so if you expect killer guitar solo from him, then there's no such thing in Natsukoi Natsu Game.
As far as I remember, I don't have any liking to their B-side track but somehow I prefer their B-side track, Boku Wa Soba Ni Iru Kara more than Natsukoi Natsu Game. This sounds like the typical An Cafe sound with keyboard and guitar are put into balance. This is the song that you can expect killer guitar solo from Takuya because there is one. This song is still upbeat regardless of how cheerful Natsukoi Natsu Game is so instead of recommending you to listen to Natsukoi Natsu Game, I highly recommend you to listen to Boku Wa Soba Ni Iru Kara instead.
Honestly, this single is great but the transition between their previous single, AROMA, is quite big in terms of sound difference. If you're new to An Cafe, this single is recommended if you prefer something laid-back but if you want something edgier, AROMA is what I would recommend. It's still a good single but not their best single.

for example there's Kaiwaru's RocK and ZETSBOU from Harajuku Dance Rock and Let's Brand New Wave and Passion!! from the new album. They're great tracks!!
but Natsu Koi Natsu GAME did grow on me, it's catchy eventually, especially when you do the dance!
I don't have the same love for it as some earlier singles like Maple Gunman, but it's not bad, but not fantastic either...
The b-side's quite nice, i've listened to it quite a bit
maybe it's a good thing they're taking a break, they'll probably come back rockier in a year or two
